April start for the 2025 Voneus Village Cup knockout

The Voneus Village Cup, the most prestigious competition in grass roots cricket, returns this April. The preliminary round of the tournament is set for Sunday, April 13, with matches then due to take place fortnightly until the semi-finals in August. This year’s final will again take place at Lord’s, the Home of Cricket, in September. Last year’s tournament attracted more than 300 village clubs from all over the country with Foxton Granta Cricket Club eventually crowned champions in a thrilling final against Dumbleton CC.
